We need all three in our life to stay healthy. Clearly we need surgery at times, and we all live better with our medicines, but the third part is just as important. We need to relieve stress, motivate ourselves, feel good about ourselves, and take back the control we gave up some time ago. Take away any leg in the stool and you fall over (have less than optimal health).
