Transforming Anger - A Court Mandated Program
Anyone can become angry - that is so easy.
But to become angry with the right person,
to the right degree, at the right time,
for the right purpose, and in the right way -
that is not so easy.
Aristotle
Most people stereotype anger by assuming that it
always results in shouting, slamming fists, or throwing things. However, anger
is not that
one-dimensional.
The underlying theme
is to transform anger from an addictive emotional behavior to a controlled
acceptable emotional response.
In
fact, all the statements below represent feelings of anger.
When I am displeased with someone I shut down any communication and withdraw.
I get very tense inside as I tackle a demanding task.
I feel frustrated when I see someone else having fewer struggles than I.
There are times when my discouragement just makes me want to call it quits.
I can be quite aggressive in my business pursuits or even when just playing a
game.
We all deal with anger in our lives – whether it be in a subtle or violent
manner. Being angry can involve such emotional expressions as frustration,
irritability, annoyance, aggravation, blowing off steam or fretting.
The good news is anger can be managed. Our program is designed to help you:
Identify the best ways to handle anger.
Understand how pride, fear, loneliness, and inferiority feed your anger.
Uncover and eliminate the myths that perpetuate anger-“Letting go of my anger
means I am conceding defeat” or “No one understands my unique problems.”
Identify learned patterns of relating, thinking and behaving in your life that
influence your anger.
Understand the roll of the unconscious mind in both creating and transforming
anger.
Do you need help with your anger? Are you mandated to complete a Court or Employer-ordered Anger Management course or class? Or are you personally motivated to manage your anger to improve your relationships and achieve your goals?
Our organization offers classes for adults, adolescents, corporate executives and managers, physicians and hospital staff, couples, families and individuals.
Dynamic Mind Institute is a Massachusetts Licensed Post Secondary School that offers the following:
Court Ordered Anger Management
Individual Anger Management Courses
Anger Management Books
Anger Management Training DVDs
Stress Reduction CD
Letter of enrollment provided and certificate of completion.
This is the only Anger Management program that includes the following.
Emotional Intelligence: A comprehensive approach to training and development of
emotional intelligence skills is far more likely to result in a powerful and
lasting learning experience. Dynamic Mind Institute strongly recommends this
approach for clients who wish to strengthen performance and leadership.
The Albert Einstein Model of Creative Day Dreaming, which is a hypnotic state,
allows for biochemical and physiological changes through out the body. These
changes aid in decreasing the anger addictive emotional triggers.
Self Hypnosis Training. The mind creates anger memories that activate an anger
cycle. Self-hypnosis is taught so that the individual can identify and take
control of their anger.
Stress Management. Understand how stress plays an important role in creating
anger.
At DMI we will :
NOT encourage you to eliminate the emotion of anger; but help you recognize your behavior that uncontrolled anger can cause.
Not judge you for what brought you to anger management in the first place.
Offer encouragement and truly care about your path in anger management.
Offer a teaching environment. (State licensed school)
Be accepted by the courts.
Be a diverse learning experience.
Offer help in setting boundaries, communication techniques and new behaviors to replace the old behaviors that you need to change.
Give you a reference or resource to read and turn to in your anger management studies.

Damage to your personal relationships is usually the common costs of anger. Most often it’s those relationships you consider the most valuable. Regardless of what you believe, most people do not direct their anger at those they dislike. It’s usually directed at those we know well, such as our spouses, children, family members, co-workers, and friends.
Learning anger and fear control skills will help you avoid hurting those you care about. This program focuses on strategies for recognizing, dealing with, and managing anger and stress, improving assertive communication, and enhancing emotional intelligence.
